ASAR-K9 aims to provide a professional service to the Australian emergency services community, in partnership with other emergency service organisations, and a high degree of commitment to training and assisting the team is expected from members. Operational canine USAR handlers have qualifications in first aid, emergency response, canine first aid and canine training. We are currently growing our membership base, and building a viable and sustainable organisation which can serve our communities and support Australia's disaster resilience capability into the future.
